Hi Matt,

I hope you are off to a great 2012. I am, and it would be even greater if I were not so allergic to mountain cedar pollen. Today’s rains are providing some much-needed relief, though. Not as much relief, however, as the people of Berserke feel now that they have water, thanks to you and everyone who supports the Bell Family Foundation! Thanks for your partnership! STORY LINK

Thank you so much for the your support... children’s lives will be forever changed through your generous donation. We were blessed by the folks we have met through you and Jesse and have several new volunteers already. We are looking forward to working closely with you and Jesse as the project progresses.

A Message from Matthew and Jessie
We started The Bell Family Foundation in 2005 in the hopes that we could make a difference in the lives of people that we encountered on a regular basis.
With so many charities out there raising money and working on the "big stuff" (cancer, heart disease, etc.) we encountered people who just needed a hand. People who knew about sick kids in Africa who hadn't seen a doctor in years, who were drinking dirty water and had a broken well, who had special needs and needed special tutoring.
Things like that spurred us, with our limited resources, to try to make a difference.
When you financially support or pray about our foundation, you are helping us bring aid in an immediate and real way. Thank you for visiting our site and please consider your tax-deductable donation.

The Bell Family Foundation has committed in 2011 to raising and providing the funds for 2 additional medical clinics for children and to rehab 30 wells in Burkina Faso. These wells will provide clean drinking water to over 12,000 people. A continued effort to fund the Alaniz Excellence in Education Sports Complex was also established. Thank you to all those who donated at our First Annual Dinner to allow us a great start to 2011!

Did you know? 50% of the general funds received are returned to local and domestic causes and 50% are invested in our international ministries. The Bell Family Foundation mission is to raise funds to assist worthy causes in the areas of special needs scholarships, clean drinking water projects, youth medical clinics, youth sports promotion and capital assistance, homeless missions and projects, and other worthwhile charities benefiting the underserved in society. Due to the professional involvement and donation of services, 100% of funds donated are passed through to the sponsored causes.

The Bell Family Foundation donated $2500 and The Learning Express matched the purchase with $500 in toys to help provide over 300 toys for the Any Baby Can Christmas Party in San Antonio.

Representatives of the Learning Express, including Cindy French and owner Tim Hicks, met with Any Baby Can Development Director Kay Maynard and The Bell Family Foundation President Matt Bell to hand off the toys. With a goal of 1000 total toys priced at $10 each, the foundation and Any Baby Can are looking to the community to help make the children's Christmas a special one this year. If you would like to help raise funds or just buy some toys, please contact Matt or Jessie Bell

UTSA completed its inaugural season with a flourish Saturday, drubbing Minot State 49-7 at the Alamodome. STORY

Matt and Jessie,
Richest Thanksgiving blessings in the Bell household this season. I wanted to send you a few pictures of the way that you have blessed a few of the Stand By Me mentees and mentors recently. The pictures were taken last Saturday at the UTSA football game. At the Bell Foundation Round up I won the tickets in the raffle and passed them on to these mentors because I was going to be out of town...they all had a wonderful time. Happy young men I would say. I saw Ceasar on Sunday and asked about the game and he said it was “AWESOME.” Being at that game gave his mentor a chance to talk about college and where each of the teams where located geographically. Ceasar and Glen plan to visit UTSA and see a real college campus soon.
